Cooking Directions on the Stove: 1. In a saucepan, bring water to a boil.2. Stir in rice (Cooking Measurement Chart: Rice: 1 cup; Water: 2 cups; Makes: 3 cups; Servings (3/4 cup cooked): 4 Rice: 2 cups; Water: 4 cups; Makes: 6 cups; Servings (3/4 cup cooked): 8. Rice: 3 cups; Water: 6 cups; Makes: 9 cups; Servings (3/4 cup cooked): 12.). Cover. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes or until all water is absorbed. Cooking Directions in the Microwave (Add 1 tbsp butter and 1 tsp salt per cup of uncooked rice, if desired.): 1. In a 2 quart microwave- safe dish, combine 2 cups water and 1 cup rice (Cooking Measurement Chart: Rice: 1 cup; Water: 2 cups; Makes: 3 cups; Servings (3/4 cup cooked): 4 Rice: 2 cups; Water: 4 cups; Makes: 6 cups; Servings (3/4 cup cooked): 8.
